Release Student Certificate

You can set up a certificate for any course and unlock a certificate for a student who has passed the course. Each certificate must be tied directly to a course.

  1. On the sidebar under Administration, click on Courses. You will search for the specific course name that you want to assign a certificate to. Selecting the course will take you to the Course’s Page.
  2. While on the Course Page you will click the yellow Pencil Icon to Manage Course.
  3. Now navigate to the Certificates tab under Manage Course. Click the green Add Certificate button in the top right corner.
  4. You will be required to fill out the certificate information, such as Certificate Identifier, Certificate Name, etc. There is also a Course Description section, any information added here will not appear on the actual certificate. However, any text entered into the Additional Text section will appear on the actual certificate.
  5. Once all fields are filled out, confirm and add the certificate to the course. Now that a certificate is added, you will need to release it for a student who has passed the course. This can be accessed either from the sidebar under Administrator > Registrations, or from the sidebar under Administrator > Students.
  6. Once navigated to the proper student registration, click the yellow Pencil Icon to Manage the student registration.
  7. There are 3 things required to release the certificate. The student must have passed the class, the Test Passed Date must be set, and the Certificate Mailed Date must have be established. You can update any of these fields as necessary. Once all information is added, Click Update.
  8. The certificate will now be released. On the Student Registration page, you will see 3 options: Download Certificate, Email To Yourself, or Email To Student. NOTE: If there are multiple certificates attached to a course, when downloaded, instead of a single PDF the download will be a ZIP file.
