Our Roadmap Through 2027
This year AnchorPoint took on a lot: deferrals, automatic class reminders, student self-service, card payments, coupons, gift certificates, and online and virtual classes. We're not slowing down.
Here's what's on the way for the rest of 2026, and what we're planning for 2027.

📝 Tests Update
Recording and tracking test results is getting an upgrade.
What's Coming:
- Testing Sessions - Easier tracking of testing sessions for students
- Module Completion - Track completion module by module, for easier NMC auditing
- Retesting Policies - Retesting rules brought further into line with NMC guidelines
👩🏫 Instructor Portal (Redesigned)
The instructor portal is being rebuilt from the ground up. It will have a cleaner, more modern layout that puts the tools instructors use every day within easy reach.
What's Coming:
- Student Information at a Glance - Instructors can see the details they need about the students in their classes
- Record Test Results - Instructors can mark test information directly from their portal
- Notes - Instructors can add notes to a student's record as the class goes on
- Easier Controls - Common tasks will take fewer clicks
📈 Conversion Tracking
Find out which of your ads are actually filling seats.
What's Coming:
- Facebook & Google Ads Tracking - Connect your ad accounts' tracking to AnchorPoint, so student sign-ups and class registrations are counted as conversions
- Measure What Works - See which campaigns bring in registrations, not just clicks, so your advertising budget goes further
⭐ Social & Review Prompts
Help more students find and follow your school.
What's Coming:
- Social Links - Show your school's social media profiles in the places students already visit in AnchorPoint
- Review Prompts - Invite students to leave a review of your school at the right moment
November 2026
🛒 Products & Services (New!)
Selling textbooks, uniforms, fees, or services? These sales will soon live in AnchorPoint, alongside your tuition payments.
What's Coming:
- Sell Items and Services - Offer physical items and services to your students, not just class registrations
- One Place for Payments - Purchases go through the same payment system you already use, so all of a student's payments stay in one history
- No More Side Systems - You won't need a separate store or payment tool for the things you sell outside of tuition
⏳ Class Waitlist (New!)
A full class no longer has to mean a lost student.
What's Coming:
- Join the Waitlist - When a class is full, students can add themselves to its waitlist
- First Chance at an Open Seat - When a seat opens up because of a deferral or cancellation, students on the waitlist get the first opportunity to take it
December 2026
🔔 Notification Center (New!)
A single place to see what needs your attention, so nothing slips through the cracks.
What's Coming:
- Admin Notifications - Get notified about expiring courses, deferrals that need follow-up, students who need to retest, cancellations, and more
- Instructor & Student Notifications - Instructors and students will get notifications that are relevant to them
- Notification Settings - A new section in Account Settings to choose which notifications you receive
Looking Ahead to 2027
These are the next big features on our list. We'll share more detail and timing as each one gets closer.
🏢 Company Invoices
Many students have their training paid for by an employer. Company Invoices will make that much simpler.
- Bill companies directly for the students they register
- Let companies pay for their students' registrations
- Send invoices that are customized for each company
- Keep better company records in AnchorPoint
📅 Appointments
- Students will be able to book appointments with your staff for services like help with license paperwork
🗂️ Advanced Class Schedules
- Lay out a detailed schedule for each class
- Track attendance against each part of that schedule
✉️ Email & SMS Marketing Workflows
- Set up automated email and text campaigns
- Keep students and past students informed about upcoming classes, refreshers, and school news
🤖 AI Assistant Features
- We're exploring ways AI can take repetitive work off your team's plate. More to come.
