Student Overview
Your AnchorPoint account is where you register for classes, pay your balance, download your certificates, and keep track of the training you've completed. This page covers getting into your account and finding your way around. The pages that follow go into each area in detail.
Getting Into Your Account
Creating an Account
From the sign-in page, click Get Started beneath the heading, or click Register on any class page and choose Create Account.
Fill in your details and click Create Account. You'll land on a confirmation page with a Go to Dashboard button.
If you started from a class page, creating your account takes you straight back to that class's registration so you don't lose your place.
Verifying Your Account
If your school created your account for you, you'll receive an email with a verification link. Opening it asks you to set a Password and Confirm Password, then click Submit. After that you can sign in normally.
Signing In
Go to your school's AnchorPoint address and enter your Email and Password, then click Sign in.
Forgotten Password
Click Forgot Password? on the sign-in page, enter your Email, and click Submit.
If the reset email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder before trying again.
The link in that email takes you to a page where you set a new Password and Confirm New Password. Passwords must be at least eight characters and contain at least one letter, one number, and one special character.
Finding Your Way Around
The sidebar on the left has everything you need:
| Menu Item | What It's For |
|---|---|
| Back to website | Returns to your school's main website |
| Dashboard | Your home page — what's coming up and what needs attention |
| My Classes | Every class you've registered for, past and upcoming |
| Register | Browse classes you can sign up for |
| Payments | Your full payment history |
Account Settings is in the menu under your name at the top right, along with Sign Out.
On a phone or a narrow window the sidebar collapses into a menu button.
Your Dashboard
The Dashboard opens with a greeting and a short summary of what's ahead.
Outstanding Balance
If you owe money on an upcoming class, a red banner appears at the top telling you the amount and which class it's for, with a Pay Now button.
Pay Now takes you straight to the payment drawer for the class you owe on. See Payments.
Upcoming Classes
Cards for each class you're registered for that hasn't happened yet. Each card shows:
- The course name
- Whether there's a balance still owed
- The class date, or the date range for multi-day classes
- The location and city, or "Location not set" if the school hasn't confirmed a venue yet
Click any card to open that class's details. If you have nothing scheduled you'll see "You have no upcoming classes."
Quick Actions
Four shortcuts to the things students do most:
| Action | Where It Goes |
|---|---|
| Register for a Class | The class catalog |
| Make a Payment | The payment screen |
| Download Certificates | A panel listing every certificate you've earned |
| Account Settings | Your profile and password |
Downloading Certificates
Download Certificates opens a panel with one card per certificate, showing the course name and the class date, each with its own Download button.
Certificates only appear here once your school has released them. If you passed a class but don't see the certificate yet, it hasn't been released — contact your school.
If you haven't earned any yet, you'll see "You have no certificates available yet."
System Notices
Coloured banners occasionally appear at the top of the page. These are notices from your school — scheduling changes, maintenance windows, or anything else worth knowing. Some can be closed with the × on the right; some stay until they no longer apply.

Tips & Notes
- Your dashboard is the short version. Balances and upcoming classes are surfaced there so you don't have to go looking — if the dashboard is clear, nothing needs your attention.
- Sign in before you register. You can browse classes without an account, but you'll need one to complete a registration. Creating it from the class page keeps you on track.
- Add your school's emails to your contacts. Class reminders, receipts, and certificates all arrive by email, and they're easy to miss in a spam folder.
- Keep your phone number current in Account Settings if you want text reminders — they're the easiest way not to miss a class date.
- Certificates live in two places. The dashboard panel lists all of them; each class's own details page has the one for that class.
