Version 1.3.0 - July 14, 2026​

🔔 Class Reminders (New!)​

Never chase down students about upcoming classes again - AnchorPoint can now remind them automatically.

What's New:

  • Reminder Settings - Configure two reminders per class from the new settings drawer on the Class View page, each with its own timing (from 2 weeks down to 1 day before class)
  • Email & Text Delivery - Choose whether each reminder goes out by email, text message, or both
  • Self-Service Defer Link - Optionally include a link in reminders that lets students defer their own registration
  • Reminder Status Cards - See at a glance whether each reminder has been sent or is still scheduled, along with sent and failed counts
  • Per-Registration Status - The class registrations table now shows delivery health for each student's email and text reminders (scheduled, sent, bounced, undeliverable, or no phone on file)
  • Reminder settings are automatically hidden for classes that have already passed or been cancelled

⏸️ Student Self-Service Deferrals (New!)​

Students can now defer themselves - no phone call required.

What's New:

  • Secure Defer Link - Reminder emails include a link students can use to confirm their class details and defer their own registration
  • Automatic Waitlisting - Self-deferred students are removed from the class and added to the waiting list for a future session
  • Student Deferred Badge - Deferrals a student creates themselves are clearly flagged with a badge on the Deferrals page and in the student's own deferrals table

📇 Contact Health Alerts (New!)​

Know right away when a student's contact info needs attention.

What's New:

  • Contact Health Alert - The Student view now warns you when both a student's email and cell phone are failing delivery, so you know reminders and receipts are paused until their details are updated

  • Friendly Deferral Reasons - Deferral tables now show plain-language reason labels instead of raw codes

⏸️ Deferrals (New!)​

Life happens. When a student can't continue with their class, you can now pause their registration instead of cancelling it - keeping their payment, their data, and their place for a future class.

What's New:

  • Defer a Registration - Credited payments stay with the school, and you can circle back to re-register the student for a future class later without losing any of their information
  • Deferral Details - Every deferral records the reason it happened, plus an optional expected return date so you know when to follow up
  • New Deferrals Screen - A dedicated view with high-level stats and quick actions to re-register, manage, or cancel any deferral
  • Student-Linked Deferrals - See a student's deferrals right on their page
  • Registration Status Filter - Filter registrations by Active, Deferred, or Cancelled (defaults to Active)
  • Dashboard Insights - Quick Stats now show how many deferrals have happened, alongside a table of the most recent deferrals from the last 30 days

📤 Exports (Redesigned)​

The Exports module has been rebuilt from the ground up for easier navigation and a simpler workflow.

What's New:

  • Streamlined Queue - A cleaner, simpler way to manage your Excel exports
  • Organized Tabs - Separate tabs for starting an export, exports in queue, and exports ready to download
  • Row Preview - When you start an export, see exactly how many rows will be included before it's queued

🧾 Payment Receipts (New!)​

Enrollment details and payment information now arrive as two separate, focused emails - so students always know what they're looking at.

What's New:

  • Separate Emails - Enrollment emails now contain only class information (schedule, instructors, and location). Payment details arrive in their own dedicated receipt email
  • Branded PDF Receipts - Every payment receipt includes a new PDF with full payment history, branded with your school's information
  • Resend & Download - Admins can resend receipt emails or download the full payment receipt PDF at any time

What Changed:

  • Payment history is no longer bundled into enrollment emails

✨ More Improvements​

  • Latest Registrations - The dashboard now highlights students who have recently registered
  • System Alerts - Display informational, warning, or critical messages to your users - for example, a heads-up when the third-party payment system is temporarily down
  • Redesigned Registration Menu - The "More Options" menu for registrations is now organized into categories for faster, easier navigation

Class Page Redesign​

Your class pages just got a major upgrade! Everything you need is now in one place.

What's New:

  • Quick Edit Cards - Update class info, instructors, and location without leaving the page
  • Add Students - New quick-add modal lets you enroll students faster
  • Instructor Management - Add or remove multiple instructors at once from the new Instructor card
  • Location Card - Change your class location and see full location history in one spot
  • Class Visibility - Control whether individual classes show up on your public website (Note: if the course is private, the class will be too)

What's Gone:

  • Class Emails tab
  • Activity Logs tab
  • Room History tab (replaced by Location card)
  • Instructors tab (replaced by Instructor card)

Student Page Redesign​

Managing students is now simpler and faster.

What's New:

  • Quick Edit Card - Update student information directly on their page
  • Register for Class - New streamlined modal for enrolling students in classes
  • Manage Student Button - All student actions now accessible from one menu

📚 Courses​

New Course Drawer​

Courses work differently now - everything happens in a slide-out drawer.

What's New:

  • Course Drawer - Click any course to open a drawer with all course details and actions (no more separate course pages)
  • Certificate Management - Handle all certificate tasks right in the drawer
  • Classes Tab - Quick access to all classes for a course
  • Course Visibility - Set courses to public or private to control what appears on your marketing site

What Changed:

  • Individual course pages removed - everything now managed via the drawer interface
