Payments

Your payment history is the complete record of every payment on your account, across every class. It's where you check what you've paid, confirm a refund came through, or find the detail behind a charge on your card statement.

Payments moved

Payments used to have a page of their own. They now live in Account Settings, on the Payments tab, alongside the cards you've saved. The Payments link in your sidebar takes you straight there.

Finding Your Payments

Click Payments in the sidebar, or open Account Settings and choose the Payments tab. Your whole history is on one page.

Payment Labels

LabelWhat It Means
PaidThe payment went through successfully
RefundedThe payment was refunded in full. The amount is shown struck through.
Partially refundedPart of the payment was returned
RecordedYour school recorded this by hand — a cash or check payment, for example

Refunds are recorded here as soon as your school issues them. They usually take a few business days to appear on your card statement.

Making a Payment

This page is a record, not a checkout. You pay from wherever the balance is shown:

WhereButton
The Outstanding Balance banner on your dashboardPay Now
The Quick Actions panel on your dashboardMake a Payment
A class's Payments tab in My ClassesPay Balance
Registering for a new classRegister To Class

Each of these opens the payment drawer, where you pay by card — either one you've saved or a new one.

If a Surcharge Applies

Some schools add a percentage to card payments. If yours does, the fee is always shown before you submit, as its own line beside the amount — never folded into the total.

Debit and prepaid cards are never surcharged. If your card's type isn't known yet, you'll see the rule explained in words rather than a figure until it is.

Saved Cards

The same tab has a panel for the cards you've saved.

What you can doHow
Add a cardSave it when making a payment, or add it here
Choose which card is used by defaultSet as Default on the card
Remove a cardRemove. Payments already taken on it aren't affected, and you can add it again later.

Receipts

Download a receipt for any payment from its row, or have it emailed to you.

Per-class records are on the class's Payments tab in My Classes. Your school also emails you when a payment is processed.

When Things Are Disabled

What's WrongWhy
A payment you just made isn't listedGive it a moment and refresh — processing can take a minute.
The Class column is emptyThe payment wasn't tied to a specific class.
A refund isn't showing on your cardIt's recorded here as soon as your school issues it, but banks typically take a few days.
An amount looks wrongCheck the class's Payments tab, where the tuition, any discount, and each payment are shown separately.
You can't pay by card at allYour school's card payments may be temporarily unavailable. Get in touch with them to register or pay another way.

Key Relationships

  • Classes: every payment is normally attached to one class. The Class column tells you which.
  • Registrations: your balance belongs to a registration, which is why you can owe money on one class and be paid up on another.
  • Account Settings: payments, saved cards, your details and your password all live here now.

Tips & Notes

  • This tab is everything; a class's Payments tab is one class. If you're reconciling a card statement, start here. If you're checking a single balance, go to the class.
  • Download receipts as you go. If you're claiming training costs back from an employer, the PDF receipt is the document they'll ask for.
  • Refunds show here before they show on your card. Seeing Refunded means your school has issued it — the wait after that is your bank's.
  • Check the note when a payment doesn't look familiar. Payments your school recorded by hand usually carry an explanation.
  • Save a card if you'll be back. It makes registering for your next class a good deal quicker.
  • Query anything unexpected with your school directly. They can see the same history, plus the tuition adjustments and credits behind it.
